Sweet, sparkling, and a little unexpected.
Why You'll Love It: Pears don’t always get the spotlight they deserve—but this Pear Mimosa might just change that. With its soft, naturally sweet flavor and a hint of elderflower, this cocktail is a refreshing twist on the classic mimosa. It’s festive without feeling fussy—and an effortless way to offer guests something a little more unique at your next brunch or celebration.
When you think of brunch cocktails, pears probably aren’t the first flavor that comes to mind—but they should be. Their delicate sweetness pairs beautifully with sparkling wine, and when you use real pear nectar (not juice!), the flavor absolutely shines.
This three-ingredient Pear Mimosa is proof that simple can still be special. It’s a beautiful choice for brunch, a holiday breakfast, or anytime you want to raise a glass to something—or someone—you love.

Ingredients Makes 1 mimosa (easily multiplied for a crowd)
1 part pear nectar (I love Goya’s pear nectar—it’s affordable, delicious, and worth stocking up on when you find it!)
3 parts sparkling wine (Cava is my favorite for this cocktail, but any dry sparkling wine will work)
Splash of elderflower liqueur (highly recommend St. Germain. For mocktails, try Belvoir)
Fresh green pear slices, for garnish
Directions
Fill a champagne flute or coupe about a quarter of the way with pear nectar.
Top with sparkling wine until the glass is three-quarters full.
Add a generous splash of elderflower liqueur to finish.
Garnish with a slice of fresh green pear on a cocktail pick for an extra special touch.
Hosting Tip: If you’re prepping your pear slices ahead of time, sprinkle them lightly with lemon juice or use a produce protector to keep them looking fresh and beautiful. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference on your mimosa bar!
Mocktail Option: Swap the sparkling wine for sparkling white grape juice or non-alcoholic prosecco, and you’ll still have a deliciously sweet, elegant sip that everyone at the party can enjoy.
How to Spice It Up for Fall and the Holidays: To give your Pear Mimosa a cozy, seasonal twist, try adding:
A cinnamon stick garnish for a hint of warmth
A splash of spiced pear liqueur or a dash of ground cinnamon stirred into the pear nectar
A sugared rim made with a mix of cinnamon and sugar for extra sparkle and flavor
Garnishing with star anise or clove-studded pear slices for a stunning, aromatic touch
These little upgrades make the Pear Mimosa feel even more festive—perfect for Thanksgiving brunches, Christmas mornings, or any chilly weekend that deserves a little extra magic.
